There were three storms in our region last night. Beautiful swirls of white on a peacefully sleeping earth.

A myth of course, many spent the night in fear. But the morning dawns with its own revelations.

It is a couple of hours since dawn, and there are very few images on Twitter, which makes me worry that areas with worst damage may still be cut off, but let us not anticipate bad news. So far, the stories are of a scary experience and damage to property of course, but the only lives lost seem to be the 5 from before the cyclone hit land.
