In classic BJP style, yet another lofty condemnation returns to roost. Subramanian Swamy had filed complaint against Priyanka Vadra for possessing multiple DINs. Applying for or owning multiple Director Identification Numbers is a criminal offense with a six month jail sentence and fifty thousand ruppee fine.
Priyanka Vadra has admitted to applying for DIN multiple times and is attempting to end the matter with paying the fine. Subramanian Swamy had also complained against Karti Chidambaram.
Less happy news for the BJP, whose supporters went to town with condemnations of corrupt character in the run up to the elections is that it now appears that Nitin Gadkari has six DIN numbers as well – 00403714, 00192107, 00192180, 00256905, 01529243 and 01598520.
Now, while Karti Chidambaram and Priyanka Vadra are hot targets because of who their parents are, Nitin Gadkari happens to be a Member of Parliament. It remains to be seen if Modi’s promise of strict action against corrupt leaders works against his own party members. Or is it back to business as usual now that elections are done?
Gadkari isn t corrupt as he has 6DINS.
Priyanka has three DIN s .She is corrupt and Gadkari has 6DIN s. So hence Both has glass house .No one helps justice.
Multiple DIN is only a procedural lapse on part of MCA21 system administered by TCS earlier and Infosys now for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Whenever a person try to apply a DIN, she need PAN and Address Proof. She apply, provisional DIN generates. She will file documents and fee. Now either she change mind or simply fail to submit document. The Provisional DIN will still reflect against her name.
Final DIN is only one where all documents and professional certificate submitted, fee paid and Provisional DIN approved from NOIDA RD Office of MCA.
Now, not only Final DIN but also all provisional DINs will reflect against her name. As against my name there are two provisional and One Final DIN.
If she has multiple PAN with criminal intent, she may get multiple DIN and liable for prosecution not only for multiple DIN but also for multiple PAN.

If possessing multiple DIN is not an offence, then tell Subrahmaniyam to oppoligise to Priyanka and also I dare Subrahmaniyam to come in public and say that it is not an offence to have multiple DIN and Gadkari also has multiple DIN.
