G A Builder arm of RNA Corp. Cheats senior citizen Murlidhar Prabhu age 85 He is homeless for last 12 years since he gave his home for redevelopment to RNA corp. The Builder is not giving rent nor constructing the building he is at the fag end of his life, He filled a complaint in RERA for relief but got highly disappointed as RERA did not gave order in his favor nor gave any relief and he was advised to approach High Court as RERA can give relief to only new home buyers and not the existing members of redevelopment project this a big drawback of RERA I request PM Narendra Modi and CM Devendra Fadnavis to amend the act to incorporate provision for original members of redevelopment project and not tolet them at the mercy of Builders.

Anjali Damania reported that she got a threatening call from a number in Pakistan, Karachi asking her to drop all cases against Eknath Khadse.

Transcript of the threatening call to Anjali Damania:

Caller: Anjali bol rahi hai?

Anjali: Haan...

Caller: Anjali, tune jo case kiya na khadse pe

Anjali: haan...

Caller: woh waapas le

Anjali: kaun bol raha hai?

Caller: Main koi bhi bol raha hun, tune jo case kiya hai na khadse pe woh waapis le saare case. nahi to tera main jeena haram kar dunga.

Anjali: bol kaun raha hai ya..?

Caller: [inaudible] tu family waali hai na?

Anjali: are par ye kaun, bol kaun raha hai?

Caller: Main koi bhi bol raha hun. woh jaanna tere liye jaroori nahi hai. theek hai? tune bahut jeena haram kar diya hai sabka

True caller shows the number to be from Pakistan.

This is the same number AAP had earlier alleged that Eknath Khadse received calls from Pakistan from. Hacker Manish Bhangale had claimed in a press conference that he had hacked the website of Pakistan Telecommunications to acquire that information. At that time, Eknath Khadse had claimed that his number was inactive and that someone may have cloned his SIM or that the hacker may have planted his number as well. That doesn't explain a call from the number now threatening Anjali Damania to withdraw the case against him.

The number shown in the service request appears to belong to Eknath Khadse.

Anjali Damania has lodged an FIR and informed the Chief Minister and Jt CP Crime is investigating the matter.

Statement by Aam Aadmi Party on threat to Anjali Damania

Khadse Dawood Nexus Exposed Once Again

AAP Condemns threat to Activist Anjali Damania

Press Note 23rd September 2017

In the wee hours of today morning activist Anjali Damania got a call from a Pakistan based number +92 21 35871719. The caller threatened her to withdraw all cases against BJPs Ex Revenue Minisiter Eknath Khadse. Anjali has shared the recorded call in which she and her family have been threatened. Subsequently she informed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and he has asked Joint Commissioner Crime to investigate the matter.

The Aam Aadmi Party says that this kind of investigation is completely inadequate and the investigation must be handed over specialised agencies like, RAW or IB as this number is said to belong to Dawood Ibrahim.

Ethical hacker Maneesh Bhangale had said this number belongs to Mehjabeen Shaikh, wife of the Dawood Ibrahim and was registered in Karachi. Given below is an attachment that he had shared of a communication between Pakistan Telecom with Mehjabeen Shaikh regarding that same number. Maneesh had said that Eknath Khadse's mobile number was frequently called from this very number - +92 21 35871719. Further, media sources had shown that this number is noted as belonging to Dawood Ibrahim's residence in the files of Indian Intelligence agencies too.

When the AAP demanded that Maneesh Bhangale's claims be investigated the Joint Commissioner Crime had given Ekanth Khadse the fastest in the world - in just 4 hours. How can we expect the same department to do a thorough investigation to the threat to Anjali?! The Joint CP at that time, Atulchandra Kulkarni then moved to ATS where once again he failed to investigate the matter. Instead, on a flimsy complaint by Eknath Khadse's associate Ravi Bhangale, the Cyber Police arrested and is harassing Maneesh Bhangale till date.

This call to Anjali is on Ekanth Khadse's behalf, from Dawood's residence. What more proof is required that Ekanth Khadse and Dawood Ibrahim work together? What is more important is that the state has totally failed to provide safety to Activists and Journalists and we fear for the safety of Anjali Damania and her family. We demand that this investigation be handed over to a national agency which cannot be influenced by Eknath Khadse the way the state Crime Department was influenced in the past. Anjali Damania should be provided police security immediately. The whole state stands with Anjali in her crusade against corruption.

It is by now known to everyone who follows the news that there is an AAP National Council (NC) Meeting scheduled for March 28, 2015. What is less well-known is that #AAP Volunteers have been putting in a lot of effort to ensure that ALL NC members are informed about the meeting, the notice of which was sent out by e-mail. As several volunteers have pointed out, the AAP has NOT made public the list the NC members; the list was eventually brought to light thanks to a sustained RTI appeal. Subsequently, volunteers began sending e-mails and conducted a calling campaign to inform NC members of the meeting, which was necessary since many of the e-mail ids of NC members were no longer functional.

Now this calling campaign is being dubbed "lobbying", even by mainstream media, with a Times of India article citing one such call to "party worker" Manish Guliya by a volunteer named Aarti. I quote the article verbatim here:

"Manish Guliya, a party worker, claims to have received a call from one Aarti on Tuesday morning, who spoke to him for close to 20 minutes in an effort to convince him to support Yadav and Bhushan.

"The call came at 9.30am and Aarti said she and some others had acquired a list of all NC members and were calling each of us to find out what we think about the open hostility within the party. She then tried telling me her version and how some decisions taken by Kejriwal were not in the party's best interests and how he is occupying two posts."

"She then asked me to attend a meeting on March 27, the time and location of which was not revealed. My problem is, whatever I may think about the issues of the party, this is not the way to call people and lobby like this," said Guliya."

It is debatable whether the writer of the ToI piece, Neha Lalchandani (@toi_NehaL), made any effort at all to find out who "Aarti" is, although I have inquired of her via Twitter if she has (and will update this post with her response).

By a curious quirk of fate, Aarti happens to be the same AAP volunteer through whom the information on the calling campaign and the RTI-obtained NC member list were made available to Aamjanata.com. Her rebuttal of the ToI piece, sent via e-mail, is reproduced below:

"We stick to the script and talk about the real issue i.e. long term sustainability of AAP considering the compromises on core principles.  You have seen all my emails to AAP and NC members; that is basically my take.

- We are NOT taking anyone's name when we call

- We are asking questions you see in the script

- Question about Lokpal inquiry is asked only if people venture in that direction.

- We are working for #UnitedAAP and Not Lobbying for ANYONE.

- In fact we have voiced that we are not volunteering for any person(s). We volunteered for this movement!

Note that I have been writing to ALL NC members including top run leaders and L. Ramdas. So, nothing is a secret mission - Practicing transparency here."

Aarti has also shared the script distributed to those who volunteered to participate in the calling campaign, as well as the sample response sheet, as shown below:

Fig. 1 a,b,c: Directions for Calling Campaign

Screenshot 2015-03-18 20.10.14

Fig.2: Response Sheet

Another fact that comes to light from Aarti's e-mail and directions is that NC members have also opted to meet informally on the 27th, i.e. a day before the scheduled official meeting. This, it appears, is an effort by some NC members themselves, as this letter from Dr. Rakesh Parikh (@drrakeshparikh), one of AAP's founding members, indicates.

Screenshot 2015-03-18 20.39.54 Screenshot 2015-03-18 20.40.09

In his e-mail to Aarti, Dr. Parikh mentions that "around 100 people have been touched upon and 70 have agreed". It may be asked if the ToI journalist's exclusively covering the viewpoints of a Manish Guliya and a Sadanand Rai, but not a Dr. Rakesh Parikh, is a clear case of cherry-picking. Has Ms. Lalchandani asked other NC members if they were also targeted for such lobbying? Also, how was she able to access Guliya and Rai?

It is also crucial to note that Aarti is not the only volunteer complaining about unfair reportage. A Facebook post by Raj Redij-Gill also adds to the tale, as quoted in full below:

"Incorrect reporting by media as usual. Volunteers across India and the globe are calling up the publicly available NC member numbers. None of them are battling for one side or another and this is a mischievous report to reinforce one view of this conflict. The reporter could also have added more balance on how Delhi based NC members are being called to meetings in small groups to put across a "pov" ....sort of velvet glove discussions. Just like how MLAs were arm twisted into signing the petition wink emoticon http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/…/articlesh…/46603280.cms"

This sort of reporting is particularly damaging as top leaders of the party claim that the PAC, which met after Arvind Kejriwal returned to Delhi, is going to listen more to volunteers
Screenshot 2015-03-18 20.53.30

The efforts by NC members towards meeting not once but twice, and those by volunteers to ensure that the NC members attending are the original ones, are both crucial to the functioning of the AAP, which owes its success tremendously to its volunteers across the globe. Unfair reporting thus stands to destabilize the very structure that gives the AAP its strength.

the following is a mail sent by an AAP Volunteer, whose name is deliberately undisclosed.

Hello All,

AAP Volunteers are running a national calling campaign and talking to NC members.

WHY?

(1) We decided not to rely on news and learn what the problem is from AAP
(2) We want to learn about the Real Issue at hand
(3)  We want to convey our voice
(4)  #BelieveInParticipatoryDemocracy  and work towards #United AAP

So, in the process we learnt several things. One important thing was that quite a few NC members HAVE NOT received the 28 march NC meeting invitation. While a few e-mail IDs in the EC list of NC members were outdated, there are other IDs that are current and haven't received the invitation. On their request, I am sending out a copy of the "official email" that was sent out.

I request the national secretary to take note and initiate corrective measures. As per AAP's constitution, members are to be notified of NC meeting at least 21 days in advance. I urge all NC members to attend the meeting on 28 March.

Reproduced below is the official email that was sent on March 7, 2015:

AAP volunteer Milan Gupta has filed an RTI with the Election Commission and obtained the National Council Members list that Aam Aadmi Party should have published on their website and has not. Milan Gupta has made the list public.

Milan Gupta, a worker of Aam Aadmi Party has released the National Council member list that Aam Aadmi Party has not put up on its website and is calling out to supporters of Aam Aadmi Party to urge them to attend the National Council meeting and strive to save the party from its imminent sabotage. His video explains his credentials in the party (since anyone raising questions is termed as a BJP agent these days) and his message. The list follows below.
