Regularly updated list of requests for rescue from people stranded in Chennai floods. If you know of entries in this list that have already been rescued, a comment stating that would be useful, so that they can be taken off the list.
If you are adding a request for rescue, please bear in mind that there is a serious shortage of volunteers on the ground and only add details of people you KNOW are stranded and need help (as opposed to network jammed, worried about someone, so hey, let’s send a volunteer over). Try to provide a working phone number as far as possible (we are aware that this may not always be possible with network congestion and outages).
