Police said a Mumbai resident has lodged a complaint alleging she was trapped into coming to Indore by businessman Rajender Thakkar and taken to Jeetu Soni’s hotel ‘My Home’ about three years back and raped by Soni.
The act was filmed by Soni’s bouncer and was used to blackmail the complainant, police said.
Police have also registered a case under section 370 of the Indian Penal Code against Thakkar, a close associate of Soni, for human trafficking.
“Thakkar used to trap girls from the Northeast and West Bengal and along with Soni used them to trap top officials and businessmen after recording their sex videos,” a source in the Indore Police said.
Jeetu Soni is wanted in 44 cases including those of human trafficking, rape, blackmail and possessing illegal arms.
