Cuckoo Club


The second anniversary of Morche Park Kavi is being celebrated as a day long event at the cuckoo club, Bandra.

The busy schedule includes a discussion with Joy Sengupta and Amol Shinde on “Kavi ne kaha tha” (what the poet said). This will be followed by the screening of a documentary film “Main dumhara kavi hun” (I am your poet). This will be followed by a discussion with Sambhaji Bhagat on protest music and readings of protest poetry in Hindi and Urdu. The new protest music band “The Banned” will be performing as well. Husain Haidari, Prakrit, Puneet, Gaurav Solanki, Charan Jadhav, Tripurari and Sameer will present “Kavi aur kaal” (Poets and time) and a performance by Yalgaar protest music group. The schedule is from 10am to 4pm as follows.
