Morche pe kavi is a group of citizens that meet on the last Saturday of evey month at Bandra “Bat of Honour” in a breezy, open air, seaside gathering involving public recitals of protest poetry and songs. Each meeting has a unique theme. The theme for this time is “Gandhi to Gauri” in memory of Mahatma Gandhi, whose birth anniversary comes up on 2nd October and Gauri Lankesh, the rationalist and senior journalist who as brutally murdered on her own doorstep.

All are invited to join in and bring along their own songs and poems and recitals and any musical instruments you may wish to bring along.
